A series of Green Man plaques designed and made by Gemma Goodall
The original clay plaques made by Gemma have been moulded and then
cast in a tough Jesmonite acrylic resin.
This is an architectural product that is robust
enough to allow these painted plaques to be hung outside without suffering any damage from the weather.
At the moment nine different Green Men are
available, each at a different size. More will be added to this range soon.
They are
available hand painted in brown, bronzed brown, terracotta, antique terracotta, green, verdigris, mixed colour and by request in bronze.
Alternatively, they are available plain white for you to paint yourself.

A set of smaller Green Man plaques:
These are hand-painted green with bronze highlighting.
Between 8 and 9 cm tall, these are good for pinning up on oak beams, beside fireplaces, on bookshelves or outside.
They have also been used as Christmas tree decorations!
From left to right they are the Holly King, Mistletoe Man, Jack-in-the-Green and Willow Man.
NEW! As of November 2011, this is now a set of six small Green man plaques, with the addition of the Tree Deva (below left) and small Oak King (below right).

The magnificent Norman church (c.1170) of St Mary in Iffley, near Oxford, is teeming with sculpted images including many representations of a cat-like face amongst foliage or disgorging beaded ribbons. This is associated with the Green Man of Norman times. Gemma has reproduced the most famous of these sculptures as a plaque (about 12 cm tall and 11 cm wide), hand-made and hand-painted.
